Bess Ramsey

After studying Interior Design at Savannah College of Art and Design and owning her own successful design business, Bess decided to concentrate on her first love of painting...... focusing primarily on watercolor. Bess has been a successful artist in STUDIO ONE at Savannah's City Market for 16 years. Her subjects include scenes of the low country and Savannah historic landmarks but she is most sought after for her pet portraits because of her innate ability to capture the true personality and character of your four-legged family member.... working primarily on a commissioned basis. Bess continues to improve her skills inspired by the works of impressionist artists such as John Singer Sargent and Claude Monet as well as more current artists such as Marilyn Simandle, Mary Whyte, Janet and Steve Rogers and many others. Bess continues to study both locally and abroad under local, national and international well-known artist where she has perfected her own unique style and use of vibrant colors.
